As many companies continuously strive to advance and develop cutting edge technological offerings, a number are realizing the invaluable benefits of allowing compatibility between connected devices and smart home appliances. Midea Group is proud to announce that it has joined the Connectivity Standards Alliance (the Alliance), becoming a new member of its Board of Directors, focused on positively impacting consumers through seamless technology. As part of this, Midea Group is an advocate for other companies and brands to show support for and integration with Matter, the Alliance’s protocol that allows disparate IoT devices and smart home appliances to intercommunicate seamlessly.
“In line with Midea Group’s credo of ‘humanizing technology’ through innovative and reliable smart home appliances, we are proud to secure a seat on the Board for the Aliance in support of Matter as a standard,” said Patrick Serrato, Head IoT for Midea America Corp, and member of the Alliance Board of Directors. “We are committed to offer the most innovative technologies, accessible to consumers across different segments, brands, and industries.
