2nd August 2021 – Midea Group, one of the world’s leading home appliance companies, has risen to #288 on the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list for the sixth year running, its highest-ever ranking since it first entered the coveted list in 2016.
Fortune 500 ranks companies by total revenues for their respective fiscal years. In this year’s report, Midea Group recorded a total annual revenue of USD 41.443 B in 2020.
Testament to its success, earlier this year, Midea Group streamlined its core business units of Home Appliances, HVAC, Robotics and Components and recategorized them into five high-growth business groups: Smart Home Business Group, Electromechanical Business Group, HVAC & Building Technologies Division, Robotics & Automation Division and Digital Innovation Business.
