Olympic gold has come to Midea Group HQ as Jiao Liuyang opens the latest of her highly-successful swimming clubs. The brand-new facility boasts a heated 50-meter swimming pool and is located just a few minutes’ walk away from the HQ building, making it perfect for employees looking for a quick swim before work or even at lunch time.
The coaching line-up at Jiao Liuyang Swimming Club is led by the Olympic champion herself who won gold at London 2012 in the 200m Butterfly as well as a further gold at the World Championships and three golds at the Asian Games. Also coaching at the swimming club is Nina Yao, winner of three gold medals at the 2014 World Military Championships in Zurich and also part of the Chinese swimming team at the World Swimming Championships in Barcelona in 2013, and Jiayun Li, 800m Freestyle Champion at the World University Championship and 200m Freestyle Champion at the Guangdong Championship.
Whether for those looking to learn to swim or experience swimmers wishing to get in a few laps, the Jiao Liuyang Swimming Club is a welcome addition. The brand-new facility is just the latest in first-class sports facilities available in and around Midea Group HQ.
